The menu is marked throughout with symbols:  v=Vegan  gf = Gluten free,  n = Nuts

Boards are displayed throughout the restaurant with daily soups, specials, cakes & desserts, and cards with specialistist teas.

All menu choices are made on the premises from fresh ingredients daily, all sourced locally including our daily bread delivery from a local baker. We use only extra virgin olive oil and pure sunflower oil.

We use no stocks, additives or preservatives and can state every ingredient for those with food allergies and intolerances. All cheeses are vegetarian and we use only free range eggs. We make our own garlic ‘butter’ from non-dairy sources.

We serve only Swedish Glace ice cream which is dairy and gluten free. Items containing nuts are clearly marked but we would point out that we use nuts widely for their nutritional value and cannot guarantee other items will not contain minute traces.

All coffee and regular tea is FAIRTRADE and we use AQUAID mineral water, which gives a charity donation. Children and babies are made welcome and we are delighted to provide free organic vegan and vegetarian baby food by major brands.

All Beer, Cider and Wine is organic and vegan and therefore free of the usual chemical additives which cause unpleasant reactions. The menu gives a guide to ingredients only, more information can be given upon request.

Throughout the menu when butter is included we can substitute non-dairy spread and soya milk for drinks, and substitutes are available for gluten free diets-please ask if you require special assistance! Hot sauce is provided on the tables and a vegan wheat-free salad dressing, made with grain mustard.
